September is here! School's back in session. And BikeSGV has some exciting projects to support lifelong learning. Highlights include:
- ActiveSGV - Community Survey - Help develop pedestrian and bicycle master plans for 5 more SGV cities (Montebello, La Puente, Irwindale, Monrovia, Glendora) by taking this anonymous, online survey!
- Sat 9/9 and 9/15 - SGV Bike and Pedestrian Counts - We need your help to make sure #SGVcounts, too! Join us in helping create a more walkable, bikeable SGV. More info at activesgv.org or by contacting Brian Velez at bikeSGVcounts@gmail.com or 626-869-6184.
- Sun 9/17 - Women-on-Wheels Wild River Ride - Women's ride along one of the most scenic stretches of road in all of SoCal, the West Fork of the San Gabriel River. RSVP required.
- Sat 9/23 - #SGVBikeChallenge Ride #9 | ciclaSGVia - Join us, CicLAvia, the Pomona Valley Bike Coalition, and more for a very special exploratory ride along the route of 4/22/2018 East SGV #cicLAvia! FB Event, BikeSGV website

Cycle Safely and Confidently into the Fall
- City Cycling | BikeSGV's ongoing series of City Cycling Classes will be wrapping up in the next few months. Want to feel more comfortable riding on city streets? Learn more about the rules of the road. Or how to set up your bike to commute to work/school? If you've been thinking about taking a class, now is the time to sign up! Class participants all receive a FREE set of high-quality, LED front and rear-facing bicycle lights.
- Quick-Fix Bike Clinics | Do you know the basics to keep your bike rolling? We'll teach you how to: repair a flat tire, adjust brakes, and make simple repairs.
- Learn-to-Bike with #BikeSGV! Learn how to ride a bike, get active, and feel empowered to use the bike as a means of transportation. All Ages & Abilities welcome! Don't own a bike? No problem! Rent a bike for free for the class. This program is made possible with the support of Kaiser Permanente Foundation Hospitals.
