Depending on the interaction, we may collect:

  • ZIP code
  • Proof of residency documents (such as a utility bill, lease, or government-issued ID showing address)

We collect residency documentation solely to verify eligibility for our resident-based programs.

B. Sensitive Personal Information (CPRA Disclosure)

Under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), certain data elements may qualify as “Sensitive Personal Information,” including:

We do not collect Social Security numbers.

If government-issued identification or residency documentation is provided for verification purposes, it is used solely to confirm residency eligibility and is deleted after verification is completed (see Section 6 – Data Retention).

3. Resident Verification Process

To ensure that our e-bike lending library serves eligible residents, we require proof of residency.

Verification documents are:

  • Reviewed solely to confirm residency
  • Not used for any unrelated purpose
  • Not retained longer than necessary

Once residency is confirmed, copies of proof-of-residency documents are securely deleted.

We do not retain government-issued ID copies beyond the verification process.

4. Payments and Third-Party Processing

Membership payments and certain transactions are processed through Square.

We do not store full credit card numbers or payment card security codes on our servers. Payment information is collected and processed directly by Square in accordance with its privacy policy and security standards.

We may receive limited transaction information (such as payment confirmation, amount, and payer name) necessary for recordkeeping and accounting.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may disclose personal information to trusted service providers that assist us in operating our organization, including:

  • Payment processors (e.g., Square)
  • Website hosting providers
  • Email communication platforms
  • IT and security providers

These providers are contractually required to use personal information only to provide services to us.

We may also disclose personal information:

When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it where feasible.

While we take appropriate measures to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage system is completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Categories of Personal Information Collected (CPRA Notice)

10. Do Not Track

Our website does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals due to the lack of a uniform industry standard.

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
