The Bassett Avocado Heights Advanced Energy Community (BAAEC) CarShare program offers residents the opportunity to experience electric vehicle (EV) driving firsthand while promoting renewable energy and reducing pollution. Funded by the California Energy Commission, this initiative provides a 1-week to 2-month trial of a pre-owned EV, complete with an optional FREE EV charger installation at your home.

Key Features:
- EV Car Trial: Test drive a pre-owned EV for 1 week-2 months at a cost of only $25 per week. Flexible payment options are available, and you don't need your own car insurance.
- Free EV Charger: Receive a free EV charger installed at your home if you rent for 1-2 months, making charging convenient and accessible.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be 21+ years old with at least 2 years of driving experience and a clean driving record.
- Have a valid driver's license, working cell phone, and credit/debit card.
- Must not already own an EV or have an EV charger at home.
- Must live within the San Gabriel Valley
