2017 and 2018 shaping up to be banner years for ciclovia lovers in Southern California! Popularized in Bogota, Colombia, over 40 years ago, ciclovias can now be found around the world, and increasingly in Los Angeles County, thanks in large part to the Metro Los Angeles Open Streets program, the largest in the United States.
Free, fun, and family-friendly, local "Open Streets" events are great opportunities to become more active, connect with neighbors, and discover the wonderful diversity of Los Angeles County.
