‍San Gabriel Valley households are eligible to receive $2,000 vouchers to reduce the cost of purchasing an e-cargo/family bike. 

The team at ActiveSGV is excited to announce the launch of one of the first e-cargo/family bike-specific incentive programs in the United States! 

The program is designed to increase access to good-quality, electric-assist, family-and-cargo bikes via vouchers that can be redeemed at a local bike retailer.

The (300) vouchers are one element of the larger GREEN SGV project made possible by the US Environmental Protection Agency's Community Change Grant program, which is funded by the federal, signed into law by former President Biden in 2022. 

To be eligible, participants must:

• Live in the SGV;
• Participate in Program Evaluation, including completion of (3) surveys and trip reporting via the NREL OpenPATH app.
• Attend a free E-family/cargo bike demo event or class organized by ActiveSGV;
• Agree to the Participant Terms and Conditions; and
• Purchase an eligible bike from an authorized local retailer.
