Sherwin was born and raised in the vibrant city of New York. He completed his education at the College of the City of New York, spending two enriching years teaching elementary school in Brooklyn. Subsequently, Sherwin made a significant move to Southern California.
In California, Sherwin experienced a diverse professional life. He dedicated time to developing his skills as a craftsman and also embraced the rewarding role of being a stay-at-home dad for his two sons. Sherwin's career then led him to the record industry, where he spent five years, followed by a fulfilling 15-year tenure in the retail cycling industry.
In 2017, Sherwin began his association with ActiveSGV as a volunteer, transitioning to the role of part-time Education Associate in 2018. Outside his professional pursuits, Sherwin has been an avid cyclist for over three decades.
