Jazmin Joyce is an Admin Coordinator for the GoSGV Program. She is proud to promote sustainable transportation solutions that benefit the environment and the community. Jazmin has also supported the San Gabriel Safe Routes to School program to improve the lives of underserved communities by advocating for safer streets near schools and enhancing students' overall well-being.
Growing up as a first-generation Mexicana in Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley, Jazmin's passion for community engagement and advocacy began early on. She became a youth advocate in 2005, focusing on public health issues such as food deserts in low-income areas, safer streets for pedestrians and cyclists, and effective COVID-19 Outreach for vulnerable communities.
She holds an Associate's degree from Pasadena City College and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Cal Poly Pomona. Outside of work, she is passionate about immigrants rights efforts, enjoys cooking, and spending time in nature with her Labrador Mix, Keanu.
