Edward Duong has lived in the San Gabriel Valley for over thirty years and has a deep relationship with its community members working as the GoSGV Program Manager.
Edward's journey with the organization began in 2016 as a volunteer. Over the past eight years, he has transitioned into a full-time employee and worked on various projects, including 626 GoldenStreets (now known as Active Streets), Covid Community Health Project, the El Monte Bike Park at the Jeff Seymour Family Center, GoSGV Regional Bike Share Program, and Easy Access: Connecting People Parks and Places. Edward also plays a significant role as a non-profit board member at Ride Arcadia and serves on the Public Safety Advisory Committee for LA Metro.
Edward envisions a world where everyone has equitable and reliable access to transportation, safer streets for all modes of travel, and more free programming at parks for our youths! In his free time, Edward enjoys rollerblading, riding his motorcycle, and gaming on his PC, Switch, or Mobile device.
