Danielle is a Program Director and co-lead on the Active Streets planning team where she coordinates logistics and hub activities for multi-city open streets events.
Danielle volunteered with ActiveSGV in 2016 before transitioning into a full-time employee in 2017. She has worked on several active transportation projects, including the Alhambra Active Transportation Plan, La Puente Safe Routes to School Plan, Poplar Ave and Glendora Ave demonstration projects, Clean Mobility Assessment, SGV Regional Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan, Women on Wheels, Bicycle Friendly Business District, and more. She also worked on the Healthy Home Study and coordinated the installation of air quality monitors in 64 households.
Danielle holds an M.A. in Community Psychology and is passionate about creating opportunities for people to get outside and explore their communities through healthy, active transportation. Outside of work, Danielle enjoys hiking, traveling, yoga, rock climbing, journaling, writing song lyrics, and singing with her band, Rubbish House Goons.
