Andrea is a Community Engagement Specialist and Nutrition Educator on the Cal Fresh Healthy Living team. She helps lead nutrition education and engagement in our community through a variety of programing centered around wellness, nutrition, and access to fresh produce through CalFresh Healthy Living.
Andrea began working at ActiveSGV in 2019 as the organization’s Communications Manager and transitioned to this project-specific role in 2021. While at Active, she has worked closely with 626 Golden Streets team, the Bike Friendly Business District, and the Cenus programs, as well as others.
Outside of work, Andrea is passionate about advocating for community building through farmers markets, local farmers and sustainability in the food and wine industry. When she’s not working, she enjoys cooking at home, exploring LA’s farmers markets and writing her wine newsletter.
